This photo and video reppresents more and more the conditions we face at the recycling site Washington Township maintains for the Erie County Recycling Program. As you can see, multiple people are disregarding signs to not leave materials on the ground, not overfill the bins and to only leave true recyclables. The eventual answer will be either a costly monitored site or the removal all together. PLEASE tell others that if the practice continues, Washington Township will absolutley risk losing this important service. If you see violators, please say something. We have to correct this problem immediately. Tell them hurts all of us when someone violates these simple rules. Collections are picked up four times a week: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. if the bins are full, come back later. Convenient? No, but at least it will be available. Otherwise, you will have to pay to have it removed from your home address or worse, find your neighbors trash thrown out on your property. Time to step up and act appropriately!
